Hotel Koldingfjord is located in the heart of the most beautiful countryside, right next to Kolding Fjord and surrounded by 25 ha of protected woodland. The impressive buildings, which were originally built as a sanatorium, have been carefully restored – classic architecture meets timeless Danish furniture design.
The impressive buildings were originally constructed in the period 1907-1911 to house the first “Christmas Seal Sanatorium” in Denmark. Postmaster Einar Holbøll started selling Christmas seals as early as 1904. From the time construction was complete and for the next 50 years, the buildings were used as a sanatorium for children suffering from tuberculosis. As such, the facility played an important role in the battle against this terrible illness.

The rooms, which are diveded between the main building, the two mansions "Dagmar" and "Christian", and the "Skovly" building, are, naturally, fitted with all modern conveniences.
