About Hotel Koldingfjord
Hotel Koldingfjord's impressive buildings were originally constructed as Denmark's first Christmas seal sanatorium in the period 1907 - 1911.
Postmaster, Einar Holbøll, started the sale of Christmas seals all the way back in 1904. From the time the construction was completed and almost 50 years on, the buildings functioned as a sanatorium for children with tuberculosis.
Today, the buildings have been carefully restored and the classic, external architecture is met inside with timeless decor in Danish design.
As a hotel and conference provider, Hotel Koldingfjord is considered as being among the best known in Denmark today
