Beer bread
Our beer bread is served every day at the breakfast buffet here at Hotel Koldingfjord. For us, there is of course a story behind this from the time when Hotel Koldingfjord functioned as a tuberculosis home, and where it was also what gave the children a hearty and healthy breakfast while they were hospitalized.
Today, beer bread has become popular again with many people because it is both sustainable and reduces food waste. At the same time, it tastes delicious and provides a good start to the day.
ingredienser
For about 5 people
1 piece of rye bread / rye bread leftovers
75 g. brown sugar
1 beer - preferably dark beer
1,5 dl water
Course of action
Boil all the ingredients for 15 minutes and blend until smooth.
Served with light whipped cream.
