Lyshøj Fjordbad - Badebro - Kolding Fjord

The architect-designed bathing jetty extends a full 85 meters out into the fjord, and invites to fun, water activity and play.

 

At Lyshøj Fjordbad is the architect-designed activity bathing bridge that in 2013 won the DR competition "Build it up". 

The bathing bridge extends 85 meters into the fjord, is five meters wide and is built of wood. In two places there are built-in benches and tables, so you can sit on the water and enjoy the view and your brought food. 

At the end of the bridge is a chute that goes directly into the water. The water has a varying water depth with rocks and soft bottoms. Right by the beach there is a large grass area that can be used for play and activity, and there is access to forest.

The bridge can be used all year round, and is suitable for winter swimming. There is a toilet and bus stop by the beach.
