Lunchbox - At the Ranger House in Marielund Forest

In Marielundskoven by Skovløberhuset you will find a freely accessible packed lunch house with tables and benches as well as access to toilets and water. It is located a few km along Troldhedebanestien from Marielundsøen, with parking at Bramdrupskovvej (bus turnaround) or at Kolding Golf Club and approx. 1 km on foot.

 

In Kolding there are many lovely places where you can settle down and enjoy the scenery with your packed lunch, even when the weather is not suitable for picnics under the open sky.

A few kilometers off the Troldhedebanestien from Marielundsøen lies the Skovløberhuset, right where the old Troldhedebane used to have its first step. A packed lunch house equipped with tables and benches has been built next to the house, which is freely accessible to everyone.

The packed lunch house cannot be reserved, and there is access to both toilets and water.

The nearest parking is at Bramdrupskovvej near the bus turnaround. Alternatively, you can park at Kold Golfclub and follow Emerholtsvej on foot for approximately 1 km.
