City Park East - Park in Kolding

The city park on the corner of Dyrehavegårdsvej and Ndr. Ringvej is both a green oasis and an important climate adaptation area in Kolding. Here you can enjoy a walk in the hilly terrain, take a break in the pavilion by the lake or eat your packed lunch in the packed lunch house. The park connects the city with Marielundskoven and also functions as a rainwater basin during cloudbursts.

The city park on the corner of Dyrehavegårdsvej and Ndr. Ringvej is a recreational area with hilly terrain and a nice pavilion on the lakeside, where you can sit down with a packed lunch and coffee. In addition, the packed lunch house can be used to enjoy your brought food.

In addition to being a park for a nice walk, the area is also a relief area for Kolding city center during cloudbursts and heavy rain. Up to 4000 cubic meters of water is collected here in a rainwater basin.
The water is then directed through an underground pipe system into the harbor.
Bypark Øst connects the city and Marielundskoven via the Troldhede tunnel under the Ndr. Ringvej, and the paths in the park are connected to the playground.
