The Love Path – A pleasant walk by the Slotssøen

The Love Path winds from Hospitalsgade through Sct. Jørgens Have and along Slotssøvejen. Along the way there is access to both Kolding Hotel Apartments, Slotsbanken and Fredericiagade. The path was re-routed in connection with Slotssøbadet in the 1990s and is paved with stone flour, which fits naturally into the surroundings. Along the way you can sit on a bench or enjoy the view from the platform out into the lake.

 

The path runs from Hospitalsgade through Sct. Jørgens Have along the lake shore and Slotssøvejen with possible detours to Kolding Hotel Apartments, Slotsbanken and Fredericiagade.

The Love Path was resurfaced in connection with the completion of Slotssøbadet in the mid-90s. The stone-flour coating is in keeping with the natural vegetation of the lakeshore.

There are benches along the path so you can take a break and enjoy the view. There is also a viewing platform overlooking the lake.
