Stenderup Skovene - Beautiful forests just outside Kolding

A visit to the Stenderup forests offers high slopes and beautiful views of the islands Fænø and Fænø Kalv.

The beautiful stretch of coast makes it something very special to visit the Stenderup forests on foot. Here, where the Lillebælt narrows, there are high cliffs and beautiful views of the islands of Fænø and Fænø Kalv. The forest hides more than 500-year-old oak trees and a large concentration of cultural traces such as burial mounds, ramparts and stone mounds that bear witness to human presence over thousands of years. The routes are connected to the cycle route Vandvejen.
