The mountain bridge from 1830 is located in the valley depression between Aller and Vejstruprød. The historic bridge was formerly a border crossing between Denmark and Germany and is today a protected historical monument.

In the valley lowering between Aller and Vejstruprød the road leads over a bridge, Fjellebroen, which was built in 1830.

It is the old main artery, and the bridge formed a boundary between Denmark and Germany from 1864 to the Reunion in 1920.

The Danish customs office - Customs House - is located immediately north of the Fjellebroen. When the main road between Kolding and Haderslev was redone, the bridge lost its significance and was gradually decaying. But in 1980, 150 years after its construction, it was restored.

The bridge is protected and belongs to the National Museum's Memorial Museum.
